US Politics: Elect a President please

I have been reading a lot about the US Elections and about how Donald Trump is blowing his own trumpet to woo voters in his favor. That said, the method he has used sometimes are downright cheap and not fitting for someone who is contesting for the post of President of United States of America.

Donald Trump says that “I’m the most successful person to ever run for the presidency, by far.”

Well, I am no one to judge if Americans think he is the right candidate, but I would start questioning a majority of Americans and way of their thinking if at all Trump wins. Someone who has a net worth of $9 Billion, and not shy to praise himself, one has to think too hard to say this guy is running be a President of USA. His campaign team differs on his net worth by one, to count it a $10 Billion net worth instead.

“A total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country’s representatives can figure out what’s going on”

His calling for a ban on Muslims entering the United States of America till someone can figure out what is going wrong was one of the worst argument I have ever heard.

He did not spare the illegal immigrants from Mexico either, and rather than talking constructive, he blamed Mexico actually sending them over the border.

“The U.S. has become a dumping ground for everybody else’s problems. Thank you. It’s true, and these are the best and the finest. When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best. They’re not sending you. They’re not sending you. They’re sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people.”

And went on to say that he would also build a great wall bordering with Mexico and will make them pay for it. Which to me sounds like India asking Pakistan to stop sending terrorist or we will make you build a wall!

“I will build a great wall. And nobody does walls better than me. Very inexpensively. I will build a great, great wall on our southern border and I will have Mexico pay for that wall.”

And sometimes, he never made any sense when he speaks. Like, for instance, teasing his fellow Presidential contender Hillary Clinton’s bathroom break and getting his supporters to cheer for him even! That is down right cheap.

“I know where she went. It’s disgusting, I don’t want to talk about it. No, it’s too disgusting. Don’t say it, it’s disgusting,”

I would have never voted for Donald Trump if I could at all vote (thankfully) in the USA presidential elections. But there are many who will still. At the end, I hope smartness prevails, and god bless America!
